Authors Instructions

1. Open Access Policy

All journals published are fully Open Access. All articles are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or access barriers.

Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, provided proper attribution is given to the original authors and source.

Scienta Press supports the principles of open knowledge dissemination to promote global academic exchange and societal impact.


2. Licensing Policy

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated.

This license allows others to:

  • Share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format)

  • Adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material)

For any purpose, including commercial use, provided appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the source.


3. Peer Review Policy

All our journals follow a double-blind peer review process to ensure objectivity, academic rigor, and quality.

Review Process:

  1. Initial Screening by the Editorial Office for scope, format, and ethical compliance

  2. Double-Blind Review by at least two independent expert reviewers

  3. Editorial Decision based on reviewers’ recommendations:

    • Accept

    • Minor Revision

    • Major Revision

    • Reject

Reviewers are selected based on subject expertise and research experience. Reviewer identities and author identities remain confidential throughout the process.


4. Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Publisher adheres strictly to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

Ethical Responsibilities:

Authors must:

  • Submit original work not published or under review elsewhere

  • Properly cite all sources

  • Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and image manipulation

  • Disclose conflicts of interest

  • Ensure ethical approval for studies involving humans or animals (where applicable)

Editors must:

  • Make publication decisions based solely on academic merit

  • Maintain confidentiality

  • Avoid conflicts of interest

  • Address ethical concerns transparently

Reviewers must:

  • Maintain confidentiality

  • Provide objective and constructive feedback

  • Declare conflicts of interest


5. Plagiarism Policy

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.

  • Manuscripts with significant plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or unethical citation practices are rejected immediately.

  • Minor similarity issues may require revision before further processing.

  • Publisher maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.


6. Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for:

  • Accuracy of data, analysis, and references

  • Ensuring proper authorship and affiliations

  • Obtaining necessary permissions

  • Responding to reviewer comments professionally and timely

Each paper must clearly state the author(s) and institutional affiliation(s).


7. Authorship Policy

Authorship is limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research.

All listed authors must:

  • Contribute to study design, data collection, analysis, or interpretation

  • Participate in drafting or revising the manuscript

  • Approve the final version of the manuscript

Guest, honorary, or ghost authorship is strictly prohibited.


8. Conflict of Interest Policy

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research or editorial process.

If no conflicts exist, authors must explicitly declare:
“The author declares no conflict of interest.”


9. Data Availability and Reproducibility Policy

Authors are encouraged to:

  • Provide access to datasets, code, or supplementary materials

  • Clearly describe data sources and methodologies

  • Ensure transparency and reproducibility of research findings

Exceptions may be granted for sensitive, confidential, or proprietary data.


10. Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern

Publisher maintains the integrity of the scholarly record.

  • Corrections are issued for honest errors

  • Retractions are published for serious ethical violations

  • Expressions of Concern may be issued during investigations

All such notices are linked to the original article.


11. Archiving and Preservation Policy

Publisher ensures long-term digital preservation through:

  • OJS internal archiving

  • Institutional repositories

  • External digital preservation services (where applicable)

All published content remains accessible even in the event of journal discontinuation.


12. Copyright Policy

Authors retain full copyright of their work.

By submitting and publishing with Scienta Press, authors grant the publisher the right to publish and distribute the article under the selected Creative Commons license.


13. Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

Our journals operate under a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) model to support the costs associated with editorial management, peer review, copyediting, online hosting, digital preservation, and open-access dissemination.

APC Details:

  • Article Processing Charge: USD 220 per accepted manuscript

  • Submission Fee: None

  • Review Fee: None

  • Publication Fee: Charged only after final acceptance

There are no hidden charges at any stage of the publication process. Authors are notified of the APC only after their manuscript has successfully passed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication.

Waivers and Discounts:

Publisher may consider partial or full APC waivers on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Authors from low- and middle-income countries

  • Early-career researchers

  • Special issues or invited papers

All waiver decisions are made independently of editorial and peer-review outcomes.


14. Submission Policy

Manuscripts must:

  • Fit the journal’s aim and scope

  • Follow the journal’s formatting guidelines

  • Be submitted through the official OJS submission system

Submissions outside the scope or failing to meet basic standards may be desk-rejected.


15. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by:

  • Sponsorship

  • Advertising

  • Institutional or political interests

Publisher guarantees editorial autonomy and academic freedom.


16. Advertising Policy

Advertising, if accepted, does not influence editorial decisions. Advertisements are clearly distinguished from editorial content.


17. Disclaimer

The views expressed in published articles are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of Publisher, editors, or editorial boards.
